Is magnet swapped in bridge HB?

Are the outer coils (or inner coils) on a two HB (LP) guitar hum cancelling?
[Neck has screws near neck, bridge has screws near bridge,
if both have screws on North side of magnet then using outer
or inner coils for ersatz "middle position tele" sound is not hum
cancelling. If the bridge magnet is opposite relative to screws it
works fine.].

Related questions, I heard the stud coil was better as a SC than the
screw coil. I am thinking of turning around the neck bucker on a LP to
get the stud coil closer to the neck, then the stud coils on the two
pickups more oriented like a tele. There won't be a phase problem
with this???
