is my pickup dead?

So I recently got a seymour duncan hot rail set for my tele build. I've wired them up and the bridge pickup works correctly but the neck pickup is extremely quiet and weak. I've bypassed all the electronics and wired it straight to a spare input jack that I know works and these are the results below

I was using a jcm 2000 on hi gain channel and the bridge pickup was really loud when i was tapping it with the string but the neck was really quiet but still came through the amp.

So I'm wondering if anyone that's knows a bit more about pickups than I do knows what's going on and whether the pickup is dead or whether I'm being stupid.

do you have a multi meter? see what you get between red/green and black/white, those are the two coil pairs so if you dont get anything between black and white for example, that coil has issues. is this a new set of pups?

exactly what Jeremy said. The test that you did doesn't tell us anything except that your pup is NOT "dead".
