Is my TB-16 dead?

Re: Is my TB-16 dead?

It doesn't sound like the pickup is broken, but it does sound like it isn't grounded properly. You might want to check the ground connection. If it is still humming, post pics of the wiring so we can sort it out.

I´ve tried a lot of ways...I´ve re_wired those some many times...I got 2 yjm singles, and one 3 way on/on/on mini switch for humbucker...
This has been working well for mounths, but now I got noise...

the only think is one new crl 5 way that I´m awaiting to arrive to try...If this doesn´t work I´ll don´t know how much can I do.

By the way I´ve noted that noise is there without connect pickups, before to connect pickups noise is there yet...this is so strange...
Also if guitar is vertical there is no noise, but in horinzontal is terrible...

I though this was ground issue too, but I don´t be able to find wher´s the matter...

Re: Is my TB-16 dead?

Ground the mini toggle with a wire and everything else that may not be such as the 5 way.

Re: Is my TB-16 dead?

I´m sorry for delay...

well, my yjm volume pot was broken, I´ve replace it and re wiring all guitar, now it´s good work and no ground issues.

BUT still there is one noise that only sound with distortion or overdrive high gain...

ie: https://soundcloud.com/user-353177643/g-noise01

seems to be one magnetic noise not ground...this noise comes with guitar position change...when guitar was horizontal position noise is coming from low to very high, just in vertical position threre´s no noise...

also 3 position mini switch, one pickup no noise, 2 pickups very high noise, standard humbucker little noise comes to high by position...

I´m using now one mooer ge200, and there´s is no way to get distortion or overdrive sounds without those noise...also in software like guitar rig the noise is there too...

I don´t know how to solve this...

by the way noise seems to be coming more high after one loss power of my area...could this power loss broke my pc psu ground (evga g2 850w)???

thanks...

Re: Is my TB-16 dead?

opss, X-files...

suddenly there is no noise...I have not done anything.

Seems to be one x-file for me. Is there some explanation?

Re: Is my TB-16 dead?

Well, something that was once touching isn't, or the opposite...either way, good!
