hey guys I am soon going to be heading out to gig again soon and I have a question. some of the local bars have pre 70's wiring without a ground. I have the same wiring in my house and it drove me crazy till I found it that it was all due to my receptacles not having a ground wire. to remedy this I ran a dedicated ground wire to the receptacle my amp plugs to, and now my gain channels are quite and sound wonderful. cant really do this when gigging out and about in town. do ya'll have any ideas on how I can get a good ground? I have a power conditioner which works great for cleaning a dirty signal, but doesn't do anything for ground problems. I have thought of trying a UPS but didn't know if this would work. My Carvin X100b and Marshall JVM work fine without a ground they just are noisy especially on high gain channels. at worst I guess I can turn the gain control down to help tame the static and hum. thanks for any help ya'll may have to offer
