Is there a market out there for custom painted basses?

I run Guitarscapes(, LLC) (which you can "like" on Facebook and then find my website) and I hand paint guitars. Anyone out there into custom painted basses? I have a Spector that I'm probably goint to "put the brushes on". It's finish is beat up anyway so what the hey, right?

Never thought about it.

Custom colours? Certainly. Artwork/illustration? Unless it is under a smooth layer of clear finish, probably not.

PM Kramersteen. He does interesting things with pre-printed fabrics and papers under clear coat.

Definitely clear finish after the artwork and / or illustrations. Definitely custom colors.
