Was recently reading an article about Ernie Ball's 50th anniversary when I began thinking about all the different strings out there an d was curious to see if there was any unbiased (key word) review or discussions about strings; quality, resonance, tone, etc?
I used to use Ernis Ball's a while ago especially on ym Acoustic Electric's, then migrated over to Dean Markley's and also have Elixer's on 1 or 2 of them.
On my hollow and semi hollows I have most D'Addario and one or two with Elixers while my solid bodies all have D'Addario's
I typically play with 10 gauge but like to ecperiment with thicker fuller sounds in other ways than pickups and such and was really interested in learning more about the strings out there.
Any resources for this kind of 411 is appreciated and I also welcome any and all forum members feedback to their string choices and why.
