Is there a way to get HSH.HH.SSS from a HSH guitar? I stumbled on something about this ages ago using a dpdt switch, but cant find it anymore.
I'd settle for a toggle from hsh to sss but my dream is to have them all :naughty:

My set up is hsh, one volume,1 tone and 5 way switch.

You're not going to get the same tone in the neck and bridge as a true Strat single coil pup, but you can split the humbuckers to just one coil each to give a similar sound to singles.

This diagram shows three hummers, but just leave your middle single coil wired the way it is currently and add the wiring and switch for the two buckers. You can either use a push/pull pot as shown or use a separate DPDT mini switch.

I'd use 3 way switch, 1 vol for hb bridge and hb neck pickups, 1 vol for sc middle pickup (blend it with any switch selection) and split both hb with push/pull pot.
