not really vintage. it's a vintage style trem. it's an ibanez ... the one in my sig, the one in my avatar. it's the 6 screw type.

Put on all 5 springs and tighten the claw as far as it goes.
Another way I did id to a friend's guitar is to cut a piece of wood ( I used maple) to the exact size of the space beween the trem block and the rear cavity wall. Make sure it fits tight.
It still won't be a true hartail, but it will be close enough without doing anything irreversible to the guitar.
Besides, both ways are cheap. :burnout:
