Is this an XL? Modding my Woody.

There would most likely be some kind of latency which would drive you crazy.

I may be thinking of the wrong technology. I know they make that little wireless thing that plugs into the guitar jack, with a mating unit that goes into the amp. Maybe Roland? I was thinking something like that. I'll see if I can find it.

That's exactly what I've done :D . Cleaned 'er up, new strings, etc...

There's a market for good, affordable resonator pickups. The Lace is good sounding but it's too thick.

I bought one for my National Tricone and it's thicker than the fingerboard, so when I mount it to the top with the double stick tape provided with it, the strings hit it! Bad design.

Duncan should look into designing one.

My acoustic guitars all have the K&K Mini pickups that superglue inside to the wooden bridge plate under the bone saddle. Except for one that has a Sundown soundhole pickup like Ry Cooder and Richard Thompson use.

Nice. I may try this. How does she sound?

Since you're a resident pickup expert, I assume you mean the wireless dealies? It works really well. I see a lot of 2.4Ghz flavors and a few 5Ghz, but the one I got is UHF, lol. Don't know why, the very little info on it. The brand has good reviews, but I clicked to buy because Amazon had a 20% off coupon tied to it.

Looks like it's down to 8%, but still a good deal. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MF7Q9RW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
