ISP pro rack and decimator pedal...same guts???

is the ISP decimator and the rack version the same thing besides the rack having a loop section?

They use the same technology. I think, the big difference is that the rack version takes the clean signal into account in gating noise. So, in short, it monitors the input of the distortion channel, and the original signal of your guitar. If the original signal hasn't faded, it would allow the notes to ring more.
