I'm using this diagram
http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=1h_2s_1v_1t_5w_pp
And instead of wiring the tone pot like that diagram I decided to run the cap from the tone pot to the volume pot like this:

Anyways. everything works. The push/pull etc.. however the volume doesnt. It stays on "10" basically.. When I turn to 0 I do hear a slightly lower volume, but definitely not muted like you'd expect on 0.
Is it a bad pot? Or have I messed up wiring it somewhere?
Thanks in advance..
It figures that the one guitar that I have to unstring and remove the pickguard to do any wiring would be the one to give me troubles.. Wired a LP and SG with no problems.. lol
