It is finished....PICS

Re: It is finished....PICS

He did an incredible job. The only think I'd have done differently would be to put a Floyd on it and mount that little airplane to the bar.

But I'm weird like that.

Re: It is finished....PICS

That is the most horrific thing I have ever seen (though sort of in a good way). Is he getting paid for playing this thing onstage or something?

Re: It is finished....PICS

That guitar's just too wild, I love it! :D (of course, I like FedEx more than those "other guys" too ;) ).

lmao...well it did get taken through its paces sunday by a 15 yo shredder...sadly I missed it, but Brian said it has major cajones, and that the neck has great action, and it's not too terribly uncomfortable to play ;) so if it doesn't go on display somewhere hopefully those duncans will get worn out :D

Brian took it to work tonight (for those who don't know he and I work at FedEx Express) and I have been hanging at the forum for so long now I sorta forgot that some people don't know the first thing about guitars.....he got all kinds of crazy questions about the guitar. Ranging from; did you make that out of a sign, all the way to - does it work...did you make it out of wood and my personal favorite - do you play guitar Brian?

anyhow guys thanks for all the feedback so far,
Steph

Thanks everybody! Actually though Steph built the guitar I just sat around and drank and pointed.

As for how it sounds. It has a swamp ash body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard stained black. It is very well round from high to low range with great harmonics all over the board. To me it really sounds the best clean but I do not play a lot with distortion. A friend of mine has a kid that played the crap out of it with a lot of distortion and it sounded great to me and he said it kicked butt and then he gave it back to me two hours later.
