It's a bloody shame!

I started playing in the 70's and to this day I'm still a noob when it comes to knowledge about amps. The sad part is that I'm a computer programmer by trade. So nerdy stuff like circuitry should be my thing! But to this day I don't know what the hell Class A, B or Simul-Class means.

Someone point me in the right direction so I can learn what the hell it is that I'm doing!

Thanks

Start reading. PM me if you get lost.

Edit: Upon further reflection, I realize these are mostly for folks who want to build amps. If you want to become a knowledgable user/owner, Gerald Weber's latest book is a good guide.

Dude, anyone with a clear head on their shoulders just buys a roland jc-120 and a pod. Is anything else worth the trouble?
