I've been away for a while have a listen to what my amps have been doing :D

My free time has been overtaken by my firstborn so the last few months I have not really played guitar or even been online at all.

I got a few hours alone this weekend and built a reamping box for a friend so I threw a mic down and ran some Lundgren M6 DI's through it.

On this is the yeti I built recently and the mkiic+ i'm getting as much time in with these amps as I possibly can as i'll be letting them go in the near future.

It should be fairly obvious which amp is panned left or right but lets see how people guess.

Thanks for the feedback. It's all pretty simple stuff.

The only thing that differs between the left and right channel is the amp. Yeti on the left and MKIIC+ on the right everything else is

Reaper playing DI tracks > Tascam US144 MKII Lineout > DIY Reamp Box > Amp > Custom Roadkill Cabs 2x12 with Eminence Legend V128s > SM57 >tascam back into reaper.

There's no EQ or comp on the tracks just volume balancing as the amps were at slightly different levels and then panning 75% L/R and rendered as MP3.

Mic placement? Also, how easy was your DIY reamp box? Care to share some info?

The mic was just thrown down at random as it was just a test but looking at the stand I would say it was off axis halfway between the cone edge and dustcap.

The reamp box is really easy just two jacks a switch and a transformer the kit is a little different since I last looked as I just buy the parts when ordering amp bits and do it myself but you can grab this
