Help!I'maRock!

8 years ago, I bought a modded Fender 50s Classic Tele from a friend. He had routed the neck position for a Seth Lover, and it was paired with a Jerry Donahue bridge pickup. When I bought the guitar, I loved each pickup independently. But the Seth never did have enough treble and the middle position sounded terrible. I replaced the Seth with an APTR-1 and a 4 way switch. And that set has done me very well until recently.
Well, all these years later, I'm back on this humbucker thing. I'll likely replace the entire control plate if I make a swap. I'd like to go back to a full humbucker in the neck, but a standard tele sized bucker in the bridge. I figure I should keep the old harness in-tact, and install a new one with 500k pots and a new switch.
I think I've got it down to 3 sets:
PGN + lil 59 bridge
Dimarzio PAF Master + Area Hot T
Barden HB + Modern T bridge
I'm not so concerned about keeping the "tele twang". However, I do want great sounds across the spectrum. To that end, I'm not really convinced of the Hot Rails or the Dimarzio Chopper T.
Thoughts and suggestions appreciated.
