Yeah, i played one and was really impressed with it. Great neck, not too thick, but a nice "C" shape that felt wonderful in my hands. Nice tigth neck joint, and wonderful tone!

If i get one, i'll put in a couple of AlnicoII singlecoils and a CC! :)

Err... i'm talking about custom ordering one ;)

I don't know if it's the Carvin pick-ups or what, but havin' played a few of them over the years, I'm starting to think "Carvin" is French for No-Mojo.

how much those carvin customs? i rough quoted an ESP custom shop on their website and the axe with the specs i want cost at least 5 or 6 grand.

Carvin makes nice stuff. I find the Bolts to be the most pleasing to play in my hands. I had a neckthrough and it always felt funny. The pickups gotta go to, IMO. I bet you'll dig it. If they'd do a front routed Bolt with a Floyd I'd buy one!

Hmm, the cheapest one without extras are about $500, and the absolutely most expensive ones with ALL the extras is around $2400 i think.

:burnout:

I think that is a good choice, Erlend. Carvin makes good guitars, but their pup's are not my fav. But if you are planning on getting Duncan's in it, it will sound good as well.
