I can see it if it's meant to emulate a famous player's board. Otherwise, not really.

This is the closest I’ve ever seen to a board that I’d be interested in buying... until I looked at the price.

The price is definitely steep, but 2K has got to be pretty close to what all of those pedals would cost by themselves.

Edit: I just did a quick Google search of that list of pedals and the prices I found added up to ~$3200.

I don't get this either. Sure, it's easier than parting it out o just sell the whole lot; but I don't know many people who will shell out all that coin just one shot for pedals.

With the previously mentioned exceptions duly noted, I would think it would be harder to sell than if you broke up "the set"

I can understand it if it comes from a famous guitarist. But just building one like that and selling it severely limits your audience. The buyer has to be that lazy and rich to buy something they didn't specifically pick out, and with enough money not to care if they would actually use those particular pedals or not.

thats a damn nice board and has the damn nice board price tag on it. id guess some blues lawyer will come along and scoop it up. it covers a lot of bases with some top shelf stuff

It’s certainly a nice board, but there’s a lot of pedals that I personally don’t need. Plus, you know....the price.

I realize that board was just demoed on the Builder’s YouTube channel two weeks ago. Looks like the shop either specially ordered it to sell or they had a customer that backed out.

Makes no sense to me. Can't see how I would be happy with someone else's pedal choices when I am never happy with my own. My board is perpetually ever changing.

I often see people doing this on CL to avoid having to make so many deals/hookups,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and it works well because they usually end up with 0.

0 Money. They end up keeping the pedals.

I could easily see doing a CL deal for 10 pedals, 5 of which I don't want, when I get the whole thing for half price or better. But that is just high-end high-endary for the sake of high-endedness. Anyone that deep in wouldn't want one or more of the pedals, nor to pay full price.

except as mentioned, the Blues Lawyer...

Seeing that it lacks my favorite plastic mini-pedal from Amazon, I can say this one’s clearly not going to cut it.

I was fortunate awhile back to snag a nice group of pedals off craigslist for a fraction of their typical used ebay/reverb price. No board included though.

Pedal lots yes, but pedal boards no.
