He made some of the worst music ever broadcast over the radio. That's what the knocking is for.

J Geils is a badass guitar player. When he got done ripping apart every club on the eastern seaboard he made some real money with a couple of fun albums that had massive hits. Far from the worst crap on radio....

I'm with ya Watt...

J's a ripper for sure and owning any celeb owned burst is a treat for anyone.

As for the price of the guitar this has been gone over, and over and over again...

If you disagree with the prices of a 50's burst don't buy one but $250k is a fair price for one and it being celeb owned and played more than makes up for the fact that it's a players guitar in terms of condition...

Interesting that the back is so intense brown, or maybe it's just the white balance.

Price seems steep for a headstock crack with semi-pro repair.

The prices on any of those guitars makes little sense to me but the rarity mixed with the legend of them makes for crazy prices.
