In a way.
I got the Jackhammer yesterday evening. Didn't have much time to try it but have been tweaking it, plugged in the LC15R, for 15 minutes.
Well I already found pleasing sounds that should do it for AIC stuff. Which was the main purpose of this acquisition. So that's good.
The icing on the cake is that it looks like it can offer everything I liked in the valvestate, but better... all for £35.00. I am quite amazed.
Than I was surprised to realise, when I turned all the way up the gain knob of Jackhammer, that the sound was quite thick already. Which tend to show that all the "superfluous" fatness I was getting while playing with the FOD at high gain level was actually coming from the amp itself (or amp + LP w/ '59 set), and not the pedal.
Well, it seem like I will have lot of fun experimenting further with the Jackhammer. Good move.
