Jackson Dominion Ground Issue

I just recently changed the bridge pickup in my Dominion to a ceramic Custom. And somehow I'm getting horrible humming whenever I'm not touching some metal part of the guitar.

To me this sounds like a grounding issue, but as far as I can tell, all the grounds are right and proper.

One thing that did throw me a bit was the fact that I have 3 wires attached to a screw at the side of the cavity...I'm not exactly sure what all 3 are for.

I'll try and get a pic up later if anyone thinks that'll help.

Re: Jackson Dominion Ground Issue

Do you have a multimeter? I use mine to test connections all of the time. If you set it to Ohms (IIRC) and touch both prongs together it will beep. If you test 2 point- like a ground wire going from one pot to another pot and it beeps you know you have a good connection. If it doesn't you might need to reheat the joint. Even shiny looking joints could be bad.
