Re: Jackson guitar wiring help

That looks to me like one of those old Super Switch dealies where you can have phase/taps combinations between the two pickups. Pretty nice stuff, some guys even went as far as wiring a blow-switch to just revert down to the bridge humbucker and bypass the switch so you could keep settings constant.

Anyway you don't say what help exactly that it is you need. If you're replacing, then check out google for what the existing wiring is and then just match wire for wire on your new pickups.

Until then, this may help you understand what's going on.

Love the guitar btw! Much old Jackson love, do I have.

So what is your question? You've got some nicely detailed pictures there, but no hint as to the issue you're facing.

Re: Jackson guitar wiring help

I would like to have all 5 spots working the way it should I have 2 Duncan pu's would like to have the individual sounds in 1 & 5 with parallel sounds in the other 3 but really just would like 5 different sounds only have 4 seems like bridge single by itself in 2 pos bridge being 1

The outside positions are fine need to use this switch because of the longer shaft with current mega switch the knob will hit mounting screws in outside positions of switch
