NOTE: Guitar is now 99% completely built up, and plays as perfectly as i am able to set it up.

Had lofty visions for this project, but completely lost steam. And frankly, i don't need a 4th guitar.
Bought the body and the case off reverb, and the neck, tuners, nut off ebay
Neck is PERFECTLY straight. and frets look as close to perfect as i can tell.
Almost all of the finish is removed. it is SUPER easy to remove the rest with a razor blade. it just flakes right off. Just wear a pair of glasses/goggles so the chips don't fly into your eyes.

accessories available that aren't in the photographs can include (if you need them):
- truss rod cover
- black or cream pickup rings
- (non-locking) strap buttons
- black metal vol/tone knobs, or amber/gold, plastic bell knobs
- (well used) regular, and push/pull pots
- 3-way selector switch
- (chrome?) mounting screws

what i DON'T have:
- electronics cavity cover
- tremolo arm

set up with GHS Boomers 10-46, E-Flat
Relief: .03
Action on Low E @24th fret: 2mm
Action on High E @24th fret: 1.8mm

INTONATION is only SLIGHTLY off on the G, B, and E strings using the Open string and the Fretted 12th (being sharp, saddles need to be moved rearward), using the tuner on my Line6 POD HD. All saddles are easily adjustable to obtain even more accurate intonation.



EDIT: ok, my anal retentiveness (and my desire to sell a guitar as perfectly set up as i can possibly get it) got the better of me, and here is the result of checking the open string against the fretted 12th, AND the fretted 21st:

"Low - Continue raising the action will get still cleaner tone, and lighter buzz with a medium pick attack. The higher you go the more tension your fingers will feel, and this creates more control of the string for me. I typically keep the relief down in the .3mm range to reduce the amount of "boing" from the slightly higher action in the 4-12th fret range. Typical is .3-.5mm of neck relief and 2mm string height on the low E, and 1.8mm on the high E at the last fret."

the 23rd fret, under the Low-E and A strings, and High E, and B strings was slightly raised and causing string buzz. so i corrected that issue. and now the neck/frets are as flawless as far as i can tell, and as far as i am able to get them.

Is that a strange combo? The demon coil is towards the bridge. I really dont know how to judge pickup tone, but its sister in my dkmg sounds good to me. I wanted to customize pickups for that guitar, because everything else about it has been redone.

It doesnt have to go with this guitar. Since its an unknown entity, i'll probably only request a modest price after the buyer has fully demo'd the thing.

i now have the output jack, so all it needs is the cavity covers... and a paint job of course.

for pickups you can either have the JB/Demon hybrid, or i can reassemble the Scream'n Demon (black) for you (i would keep the JB)

you can try the JB/demon and if you don't like it, pull it out and return it. and i will reimburse you $25

we can discuss the price if you're interested in less than the full package. like if you don't need pickups or electronics. or if you have your own tremolo unit.

Ok ladies and gentlemen, this thing is ready to smash rock, and forge metal. wired it up, and all is working 100%.
I connected the 4-color coded leads of the hybrid JB/Demon bridge pickup slightly incorrectly. so that instead of the white/red leads connected for series, the white and GREEN leads are connected for series.
- the intonation probably needs a little tweak here and there
- no discernible fret buzz anywhere
