jackson JS32 Dinky™ DKA-M pickup swap

Hi All,
I have a Jackson JS32 Dinky™ DKA-M that has a basswood body with a maple fret board. I am wanting to change the pickups. I play mostly old rock, country and classic rock . Also blues . I was thinking of going with the pearly gates in bridge and neck . What would you recommend . Music bands that I like to play are zz top , Aerosmith , pretty much anything in that era along with various country . I play at home through a roland cube 30 amp and do go through a roland rc-3 loop station . I also go through a fuzz pedal at times . Thanks in advance

I think a PAF style bridge pickup like the pearly might be too bright in bassswood/maple/floyd rose. I would go a little warmer with custom custm bridge and alnico 2 pro neck

I don't want a bright sound , I'm looking for more controlled low end growl and strong mids . I want the highs to be be clear but not twangy if that makes any sense lol. Would this combo be closer to that?
