Jackson Kevin Bond?

Found one of these used at a local GC for $699, which seems pretty good for a japanese made Jackson. I can't find jack sh*t about them though. Anyone ever played/heard of one? Been pretty interested in buying it, felt pretty good to me. On first glance the pup looked like a SD El Diablo, but after reading the small amount of info on the Musician's Friend listing, apparently it's a SD Iommi (looks the same). Never heard of a pickup like that.

The Iommi and the El Diablo are the same pickup. $700 is good if it's neck through.

I remember looking at those in the Jackson catalog, back in olden times, and thinking they were probably pretty cool guitars. It looks very Slayer approved; I bet you could play all your favorite songs from South of Heaven on it.

Always wanted one, Super Joint is one of my favorite bands but I thought the price was kind of high when I saw this one online. They seem to be pretty rare, hardly ever see one for sell.
I think they have mahogany body and neck, neck thru and a 25.5 scale.

I totally forgot about this guitar. A long-scale hardtail mahogany V with pentagram inlays? Man, if I could score one for cheap and route a P90 into the neck position it'd be perfection.

The neck is unusual for Jackson in that it's a three piece with no scarf joint.
