Jackson Performer PS-2 (Find or not?)

Ok i was looking in the local pawn shop for a guitar my dad said they had "Heartfield Talon III" (one to cross off my G.A.S.) when i deicde that it can wait as its a bit above my budget. I liked a few other guitars there but nothing stood out.
So i check out the rooted/broken guitar rack to see what they had, i immediately got poked in the eye by a Jackson headstock. Picking it up and wondering why it was there i inspected it, a broken string, someone had replaced the tremolo arm with a possibly home made one, a few chunks out of the body, a perfectly straight unchipped neck. SSH Jackson pickups. But wait, its only $250 AUD? approx $100USD.
I'm wondering if this is a good price, im going to replace the pickups, trem arm, locknut, fix the dings, strap locks and scallop (not scallopwn :P) frets 21-24 so ill need a little money left over.

If it´s a MIJ performer yes, if its an Indian one I´d say no. You can tell the difference by the 12th fret dots, the MIJ ones are spaced normally to narrow, and the Indian ones you could drive a truck between ;)

its not indian, its made in korea from what i could tell... hence "made in korea" on the guitar

AAAAH, one of the short lived, therefore rare korean ones.... THey´re also pretty ok, esp for 100 bucks ;)

But for almost 200 I´d start looking into a used Charve Model Series, much better guitar ;)

Nope, sorry...I´m essentially only ever interested in USA guitars, even my knowledge of Charvel and Jackson imports is more by chance than anything else ;)

I remember we had a few in the store, but they were never anything that interested me, same with the Ibeenhads.....Quality was ok for the price and eyerything, but they just never did anything for me ;)

thanks for the advice, my heartfield was made in japan and i havent played anything so far that has personally surpassed it for quality, sound or feel
