Jackson saddle height cheap JS-32 Floyd

I got a JS-32 with a Floyd and the G string is a TAD higher than the rest of the strings. It's driving me crazy, lol. My sausage fingers can't adjust to it. Any advice on what to do? It feels fine up by the nut so I don't want to file the nut but I've never messed with a saddle on a Floyd. Never had a problem with one before, they were always perfect, including my JS-32 Rhoads. I'm ready for the "sell it and buy a real guitar" comments, lol.

Don't know why I didn't think of this before...The saddles seem cheap enough, like 25 delivered for a whole set, or I can just swap the floyd from the Rhoads in the Dinky. I'm replacing the Rhoads with the Dinky and selling the Rhoads, so whoever tried it out may not care about the G string.

I believe there are 3 saddle heights for Floyds. Is it possible the B or D string aren't using the correct saddle so they are sitting lower? You can get individual replacement saddles to swap out any that are incorrect.

Yup. G-D, A-B and e-E should be same height. Could be worth looking at the radius, OP might need a shim under the D saddle. I'd look under the saddles and inspect the numbers underneath, should have 2 with "0", 2 with "1" and 2 with "2" stamped on it. And yeah, those are Jackson baranded FR Specials, so a set of Special saddles would be a cheap fix if all else fails

OMG, I'm an idiot. Aceman, you are correct, it was an easy fix. Get ready to laugh and make fun of me dudes, lolol. I didn't cut the wrap off the ball end of the string. Didn't really notice, and it never laid down flat. Cut it off, on ly string in there now and viola! Plays wonderfully now. I'm such a maroon.
