jackson single cut!! and new is old again.

Re: jackson single cut!! and new is old again.

At least it looks tons better than Sambora's ESP/LTD model, but that's not saying much.

Re: jackson single cut!! and new is old again.

I love Jacksons (heck, I even liked the Zoraxe) but that abortion is about 18 different kinds of fail.

Re: jackson single cut!! and new is old again.

I am just glad to Jackson picking up a little steam. They (Soloists, Dinkies, etc.) really have been a steal at the ~$2000 mark, I hope any bump in popularity doesn't dramatically raise prices (I need a few more yet).

That PC-1 is hideous, his last incarnation was a work of art! Good old fashioned badass super strat.

Re: jackson single cut!! and new is old again.

Tubby low mids and an overall "round" response to the instrument.

I don't think I would generalize a neck-thru like that, especially the Jacksons.

When I put one of my Jacksons back-to-back with one of my Charvels (everything else being as equal as possible (Alder, maple neck, JB with single 500K volume, Floyd)....I can barely tell a difference.

The Charvel has just a touch more midrange to it, but that could be the maple board vs the ebony board?

I saw a pic of that the other day and I thought it was god awful looking.
