Jackson SLS3 JAPAN VS ESP horizon NT2 2013

Hi guys, I need some help! Between a jackson SlS3 (new) and a ESP horizon NT2 manufactured in 2013 (used but in excellent conditions) what would you choose? The jackson seems to be a little lower quality guitar compared to the Esp, but I love the shark-eyes inlays and the AT-1 headstock....But the ESP has a beautiful quilted maple top and is a great quality instrument, and the headstock in this model says ESP and not E-II (nothing bad to say about the new ESP E-II, but if I buy an ESP, I want ESP on the headstock:-)
The specs are the same: mahogany body, neck-thru construction, ebony fingerboard, seymour duncan pickups. Thanks a lot guys! sorry for my english. My best regards from Italy

totally ESP..great on everything :D

100% agree with you! my new ESP horizon in dark brown sunburst, amazing guitar.... it's like brand new, excellent conditions, I'm a very lucky guy:lmao:01705b43e9139471aa4879e73d17ec01ada40b2b5c.jpg01d81152c336f346f6cc7f16224786f996c9c7211c.jpg

I've liked both–I have a soft spot for the Jacksons as that is what my dad used when he gigged.

totally ESP..great on everything :D

Interesting choice for a guy with a Jacksen username ;)

@treyhaislip thanks a lot for your comment. I decided for the ESP because I really love his neck, is Faster than the neck of my Jackson RR1.... and the SLS3 is loaded with a seymour duncan 59 in the bridge, not so ideal for hardrock/metal. In my horizon there's a JB in the bridge that really screams!!! , furthermore the SLS was available only online, so impossible to try it....

NICE!! Congrats! Was going to say, both wouldve been great. I would have said go with whichever feels the best. Even tho you couldnt play the Jackson, sounds like you love the feel of the ESP. Loving one that much would have been enough to seal the deal

That's a beautiful guitar man!

At first glance I was thinking the Jackson SL3 which is loaded with a JB+2 Hotrails...but I misread that. Congrats on the new guitar man, hope you get a ton of use out of it!

LOL fingers can't lie [emoji13] [emoji13]

Truth!

That's why I no longer play Charvels and Jacksons myself–but I went the Warmoth route ;)
