Jackson USA still good?

Are they still made in USA after Fender bought Jackson? Are the quality the same old good?

I doubt you'll be seeing a drop in quality. It wouldn't make sense for Fender to drop quality on the Jacksons.

And from what I've heard from people who've played and used pre and post Fender Jacksons ... there's very little difference

Yes, they are still made in the USA . In Arizona auctially and the craftmanship is wonderful. I couldn't compare it to a pre-fender Jackson because i have never had one but i just bought my Sl2h about a month ago and it is the perfect guitar for me. I love it and i couldnt imagine there being a guitar with a better action or faster neck. But its all in personal preferance too. haha

I forgot to mention.....My soloist was buit when i ordered it too so i didnt get an old stock guitar,. The color i ordered was out of stock so they built one for me and it only took about a month and a half. Well worth the wait!

Jackson USA is better than ever, Fender even brought back Mike Shannon IIRC

Get ´em while they´re still cheap, I and others expect a price rise @ the latest next Winter NAMM :-/

The Jackson custom shop is located in Corona, California in the same building as the Fender factory.

Excuse me, but AFAIK the Custom Shop is still in the same building in ONTARIO California that it´s been in since 1986

No. Wrong. I guess you didnt follow in on all the discussions that were raging on the JCF Board back in December 2003.
Since January the Jackson Custom Shop has relocated from Ontario to C orona and is now housed in the same building as the Fender factory.
If you don't believe me, call Jackson and check it.
