I just wanted to share this in case anyone else wanted to upgrade one.
I wanted to replace the pickups in my James Burton signature Telecaster and couldn't find any info about what would fit. I emailed SD and they said "Any modern strat pickup" would drop in fit. This is not the case.
For these to fit a tech had to remove the neck and enlarge the wiring hole and route out the bottom pickup cavities.
Turns out Fender lace sensor knockoffs have pickup wires on the bottom of the pickup bobbin/blade/whatever.
They will fit but it takes a little wood working.
