Jamming on some Jungle Boogie, Kewl and the Gang!

Re: Jamming on some Jungle Boogie, Kewl and the Gang!

Thanks man! I think I was using my 71 Traynor Bassmaster, and my buddy Nate was likely on a Traynor Bassmate or a little Hilgen head, both are 20 watt monsters...

Those traynor bassmates are the ones with el84s right?

Many thanks, Zen. There is so much freedom on those riffs, we had a Fender Rhodes player on it one time, ended up like *****es brew...lol

Andrew, yes, it has El84 and there is a much more rare 6v6 version too.

pure awesomeness! I dig the tone and style of this cover :)

Re: Jamming on some Jungle Boogie, Kewl and the Gang!

Thanks much, the tune is so fun to mess with, it just hangs on G and stays there, which makes it real fun to stretch out with. I honestly don't know of there is a better riff in all of music than that main line.

Very cool stuff! I love funky vamp style tunes...a little while ago my band did a cool mash up of Superstition/lay that Funky Music that was so much fun!

That is indeed, a perfect mash of grooves, Mr Bees. I love riding a hook endlessly....
