Well.... this question goes out to all of you, specially the Unholy and vintage members.

First set of questions :
A 59 neck with nickel cover will have MORE midrange than the original?
a 59 neck with ceramic magnet will have more midrange than the original?of course that i do not want the bass to me increased. i guess in this case, a seth lover will be better.
a 59 7 string neck with cover will have MORE midrange than the original?

Second Set of Questions :
The same as above, just swap the 59 neck, for a Jazz.

Hails and thank´s for the answers.

Seymour Duncan covers don't adversely affect or change the tone. A ceramic 59 will get awfully harsh and bright from my experience.

if in the neck, MAYBE it will get near form what i want.

bridge. ceramic neck might get too boomy and muddy.

Re: JAZZ & 59 NECK questions!

Forget that vintage nonsense WFD, you need to try 2 Dimebuckers in your next guitar, and dub it the F'in Hails Rails. You want a neck that sustains for days?

Re: JAZZ & 59 NECK questions!

Yes, a neck with SUSTAIN for days, A BALANCED Bass response, not Boomy or bassy. i hate too much BASSY neck pups, it really Make it Muddy,
i had a true single coil pickup STOCK in my other stratocaster, a brazilian strat copy named tagima check out their site (www.tagima.com.br) and it rules... BUT, my guitar has Marupá body, Marfim Neck, and jacarandá da BAHIA fretboard.. all brazilian woods.
and.... i had to decrease the pup height in the last 3 strings, because it was too bassy. ahahaha when i did that and increase the pup in the first 3 strings... WOW, what a single coil sound for 2 hands and tapping.
holy ****....
for this reason i always remember to people that recomend to me Some pickups with the BASS eq a little high.... that i dislike too much bass on the neck position.. Unless myguitar is ****ing crunchy/bright.... Not the particular case of the CHarvel i own today... but i tried 3 different pickups, and its stock twin blade copy of the hotrails didn´t get enough bass in the neck. so.... eheheheh in my other , all equipped with Hin the neck, i already have my ears calibrated with the right ammount of bass in the neck.... a FULL SHRED EQ is just ALMOST perfect for me.... i´ll try tomake a good eq neck pup with my Fu**ing (H)Rails Neck from the WFD combo.
ahahahahah i´ll ask a friend of mine to do my Logo with WFD .
ahahahahahahahah
i´ll post as soon as i get it.
I know that dimebuckers are a ****ing great tone machine.... but i really need to test it. ahahahahahahah and i´m deciding with polepieces to go, in another thread. hehehehe
