That was sick! I love music like this. Great playing... the song does have that "old school" vibe. I didn't dig the tone too much though. It lacked, as you said, edginess. I also hear the song with a really clean, snappy tone. Regardless, you played well and the song sounds damn good.

I use an Air Norton and a Breed on my Ibanez..which are quite "polished" (modern) sounding pups.

I agree, it would nice with a snappy Strat sound to play it.
