Jazz humbuckers in parallel

Just got my Jazz set in a couple days ago. I was wondering if anyone has tried them in parallel, particularly the bridge.

It was pretty weak for whatever I would use it for. I suppose it might be interesting if compressed for some snappy country, but parallel isn't one of the things I think either Jazz pickup is particularly great at. I don't mind it split, though.
