Jazzmaster Stacked Humbucker Question

Anyone know the approx. DCR of a stacked American Special Jazzmaster neck pickup? Want to make sure I can pinpoint the issue I'm having, where I'm not getting hum-canceling (mine is ~8k and most stacked pickups seem to have ridiculous high DCR numbers in general - Yeah, I know everyone thinks these are terrible pickups.)

To drag out this discussion - apparently there were shorts in the pickup, I now get ~14k DCR. However - there is still some hum from the pickup. Is that normal for a stacked pickup (less effective noise canceling than side-by-side?)

I can't offer much assistance, other than to say that stacked , or side by side, shouldn't make any difference.

Thanks. Mostly ruled-out ground noise since the baseplate is pretty firmly soldered. Pickup was so firmly encased in the cover I doubt there’s a phase issue unless the factory wired it wrong- So I’ve got a magnet in between two coils and steel pole pieces piercing the assembly; both coils are ~7k DCR. Anything else I should try?
