Jazzmaster - where have you been all my life?

Re: Jazzmaster - where have you been all my life?

love the shape! dont like the wonky bridge and fancy electronics.
Love the shape and the pups and all the other positives that other posters have mentioned.

As far as electronics, from my POV, that's just an opportunity to explore fun alternate wirings;)

I like the rhythm switch as like neck pickup blower switch. Leave the lead circuit on full volume and tone and then back of the controls on the rhythm circuit a little and you get a smoother bassier neck tone, a bright full neck tone, and a cutting bridge tone, without having to find That perfect spot on the knobs every time you wanna go back to that darker neck tone

You know, it just occurred to me that it would be pretty simple to swap the pickup wired to the rhythm circuit switch to the bridge pickup. Although the dark neck sound is useful - especially if you want a woolly tone running through a fuzz box.
