JB 500k vs. 250k volume pot

I think JB should work with a 500K volume pot. Could it sound good with a 250K volume pot? I´ll match it with woodstocks at bridge and middle.

I know it will be different, but could it be nice? I mean, are there good guitar players who would like it better than using 500k?

I think the JB was designed to be used with a 250k. (Or I'm remembering it wrong.)
But more importantly, the difference between a 250k and 500k is subtle. I'm using 250k's with two of my humbucker equipped guitars. I like it in those particular applications.
