I have Fender Strat. What magnet is the best for jb in this guitar?
What are the differences?

I like the regular A5 in the JB for Strats. The A2 sounds good in mahogany guitars. Other than that I have not liked any other magnets in the JB.

I would go standard A5 IMHO. But heavy and thrash are definitely not my forte

The standard stock A5 is absolutely the sound of hair metal.

Yep. Try A5. If you need hotter later, try a8 or ceramic.

In order; A5, then A8, then Ceramic

But again - your guitar, your ears. Use what works best for you. But most actual 80's hair guys used it stock, so A5.
