P90 Silencer vs Phat Cat Silencer - same inside?

I just got a set of Hot P90 silencers (soapbar) to install in a P90 routed LP Special. When I take the cover off, the pickup underneath was smaller, and was about humbucker sized. (I always thought the larger length coil bobbin in a P90 is one of the main factors contributing to the "P90 sound.") I was wondering, is the P90 form Silencer and corresponding Phat Cat Silencer (hot to hot, vintage to vintage) EXACTLY the same pickup underneath with just different baseplates/covers? I guess the metal cover vs plastic would be a potential tone difference, but otherwise if you had two "identical" guitars with different pickup routes (P90/HB), would the P90 Silencer and Phat Cat Silencer essentially be/sound "identical?" (ignoring that every individual guitar has tonal differences.)

Well, from a production standpoit, it would make sense.

Yes, part of what makes an actual P90 sound different compared to a humbucker-sized P90 is the coil geometry. But then if they're having a completely different setup compared to a traditional P90 to get that tone, does it matter if it's not the same lenght as an actual P90? I would think not.

Honestly, I never took them apart to compare, but I agree it would make sense for them to be the same.
