JB/DD another magnet asking

Hi everyone !! :wave: I'm new here but I've already read some of your posts , where I learned that JB and DD were the same pups with different magnets. I've tried them both and really liked them. But my ideal pick-up would be right between the 2: meaner than JB but not as hot as the DD ,and with as many harmonics. What I want to know is what kind of magnet I can put in to have this result. Is this possible? :wizard: I am also searching a video showing how to flip a magnet,does someone know where to find one? Thank you.

OK!! Thanks!... But I've read that alnico8 was very expensive. Is it true,and then is there a cheaper way to do it? Does the size of the magnet affects the sound? I was thinking of reducing the DD magnet...:question:

you might also try the ceramic magnet out of a Custom, it is smaller than the ceramic that comes in a DD and is not as agressive but it is ceramic so it's more agressive than the Alnico 5 bar in a JB...

Yes,I was thinking of this too,then I would invert the custom magnet with the JB one ,which would give me a custom5 more the other pup.:burnout: But has someone already tried this? I also should buy a custom first... Now,for my culture :22: what are the "duncan families" other than the custom and the JB/DD ?
