JB F-Space Equivalent

Does anyone have any comments on using the JB with a tremelo. I did see one poster who was using the regular spaced JB with a tremelo bridge and he just raised the pole pieces to accomodate for the volume diff.I already have the JB, but I suppose i can trade it for the Trembucker equilvalent if it's that great of a concern. Does anyone know what that equivalent is?

Re: JB F-Space Equivalent

is that a floyd rose? if it's not there wont be any problems and even if it is, there wont be any highly noticable diference between the normal and f-spaced JB

Re: JB F-Space Equivalent

It an SAT30 bridge, whatever that means. The strings are exactly 2 inches apart.Would you advise raising the pole pieces?

Re: JB F-Space Equivalent

i suggest raising the pole pieces whatever the bridge is .. they are screws for .. a ... reason you know ;)

i have it set to follow the arch of the fretboard

Re: JB F-Space Equivalent

Just for someone's sake who hasn't already bought the jb,what would the trembucker equal be?

Re: JB F-Space Equivalent

all SD humbuckers are available normal and f-spaced (called trembuckers.. NOT to be mistaken with the blues saraceno or original trembucker), so you dont need to search for a f-spaced humbucker with similar sound
