JB in an Epiphone Les Paul?

I love to play pop punk and alternative music, so I put a JB pickup in my Strat,

I found the JB pickup to be too bright in my Strat, so I'm taking it out and replacing it with an Invader.

I don't want my JB pickup to go to waste though, so I was wondering how good it would sound in an Epiphone Les Paul? I figured that since it's a warmer instrument than a strat, that it would be balanced out.

What do you think?

woah woah woah, first of all didja try it with a 500k or 250k pot? usually a 500k pot is the problem when people try out a JB making it too shrill and/or bright.

Yeah I have 250k pots in my strat.
