Jb Jr. in the Neck Position????

I have a G&L S-500 with Leo's hot MFD single coils. The previous owner had installed a JB Jr. in the bridge, and it really doesn't have quite enough power to keep up with the MFDs. And they are already about as low as they can go.

I'm thinking about moving it up to the neck position, in the hopes that it will give a good humbucking sound with lots of "woman tone". And offer better balnce in the process.

Any thoughts?

I put a JB jr bridge in the neck of my frankenstrat. Sounds awesome on both clean and distorted. Very warm. Doing something like that does not always work but it did in this case. Give it a try you might like it like I did.
