JB Jr + Lil 59 + 5 way superswitch. Options?

Trying to find out what sort of pickup combinations I can have with a superswitch and these single-coil sized humbuckers. Unfortunately the magnets are fixed in place and cannot be flipped on these pickups, so as far as I can tell there is no RWRP possibility.

There are too many possibilities to list...series, split, parallel, oop, etc. If you have a particular setup(s) that you would like and in which switch positions, we can let you know if it's possible and help you with a diagram.

Yeah, the HyperSwitch sounds like a great tool for experimenting with different sounds/combinations. I'm not sure I would rely on it for a guitar used for gigging though. Might be too cumbersome to manage...so much easier to get the guitar hard wired to where it sounds great and just flip the switch.

I really don't know, because I don't have much experience with these pickups. I think I'll go with the below setup, which I saw listed on another forum as being "the way Ibanez does it." If anyone has experience with better sounding arrangements for these single-coil sized humbuckers let me know :)

1) neck HB
2) neck parallel
3) both HBs full on like LP
4) the inside coils of both PUs
5) bridge HB

Actually, it works just like a regular switch.

You don't have to flip a mag to get rwrp, you just have to use 1 inner coil and 1 outer coil and flip the wires.

According to my earlier research on the subject, manually checking the polarity of the JB Jr and Little 59, and the below wiring spec, I believe that a mag flip would be required to achieve RWRP effect, however it is not possible to flip the mags on either of these single-coil sized HBs. I would be happy to be wrong about it though!

Note: Combining to coils of the same polarity (North+North or South+South) will not cancel hum. For the inner slug coils or the outer screw coils to be hum canceling combinations with Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, Gibson and most other brands, one of the pickups must have the magnet reversed and use alternate wiring.

I'm confused now. You may be right. You can spit to opposite poles but then if you flip the wires the hbs on full might be out of phase.
