I have a new fender american deluxe strat and want to replace the bridge pup. I was debating the jb jr. and the little '59 and finally decided to go with the '59 for its brightness. The only thing I was worried about though was that it might not have had enough output for my liking.
I was just looking at some threads and found someone saying that the Jb jr. neck pup in the bridge position is a bit brighter than the Jb jr. bridge pup itself.
I'm wondering if anyone has tried both the JB jr. neck pup in the bridge position and the little '59 bridge pup in the bridge position. If anyone actually has, I am very curious to know how they compare because I really want the brightness of the '59 but also want a bit more output that the JB jr. can produce.
In case it helps for any suggestions most of the music I play is indie rock and progressive and technical melodic punk rock. Some fast and hard and some slow and subtle.
Any replies would be greatly appriciated.
