JB on a PRS SE Custom 24

Hello!

Since i saw the new PRS 2018 range, i completely fell for the SE Custom 24 Spalted Maple.

http://www.prsguitars.com/index.php/electrics/se/se_custom_24_spalted_maple_2018

I play in a Stoner / doom band, and this time i would want to try seymour duncan humbuckers.
I mainly play my Les Paul with the Bare knuckle WARPIG, but i also have a Telecaster with duncan hot rails in the bridge.

This will be my first trem system guitar, and was wondering wich pickup that i should get. Do i get the regular one, or the trembucker? I see the trembucker is a little bit hotter (Wich i like, since the WARPIG is 21.5 kΩ).
I also prefer Alnico 5 instead of Ceramic.

Any help and tip would be great!

Trembucker is for guitars with Fender spaced bridge, standard is for Gibson spaced bridges. The DCR means nothing in this case.

Welcome to the forum!

As always, when buying a new guitar, you may want to wait a little to replace the pickups, so you can make a better choice. The stock pickups may have some annoying frequency, or might be too dark or too bright, etc. This might change the choice of pickup you decide to put in the guitar. In the mean time, check out the SLUG, which is wonderful for doom bands, especially downtuned.
As far as the Trembucker/Humbucker thing goes...here is the official description.

Thanks for the welcome, and thanks for the reply!

Wow, the SLUG humbuckers looks sick, sounds huge! Does anyone have any experience with them? Is it too much? (Never though i'd say that.) I only play in "D tuning, drop C"
But i guess it is smart to play in the guitar at first. I kinda rushed it with the Les paul, by all means, it sounds great! But i kinda enjoy the play-ability on other guitars.

I've just heard others use the SLUG (and with the rails, you don't have to worry about trembuckers or not). It does sound huge, and the band I saw was sort of a Sabbathy Master of Reality kind of thing. I never heard one guitar take up that much sonic space before.
