JB question...Whats the deal?

What's the deal? I was on Ebay loking a JB Jr. and full size humbuckers, and about 3 of them said JB (Jeff Beck)...are these people stupid, or is there some ties to Jeff Beck??

Seriously: Officially there's nothing linking Jeff Beck and the JB. JB stands for Jazzy-bluesy.... It's just one of those general misconceptions....
It was developed for jeff but never got endorsed by him....

people i personally know refer to it as the Jeff Beck bucker too. if you say SH-4 no one really knows it. but Jeff Beck pickup, yeap.

He used to use Humbuckers. The JB and Jazz were made for the telegib.
