JB SH-4 or TB-4 for my "strat?"

I need some guidance from someone with more pickup knowledge than myself:

I am putting together a strat-like guitar with some custom parts. The body is routed for two humbuckers. I am planning on putting a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge position. I don't know if I should purchase the SH-4 or TB-4 model. I know that there is a string spacing difference. I am going to be using a vintage fender hardtail bridge. Which pickup is right for me?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
m

Hi fella > I've got JB's (SH-4) in my Les Paul and my Richie Sambora strat > they sound awesome (I ditched the Dimarzio paf pro from the strat - didn't work well with my Marshall)

Awesome pickups - my band plays loads of different types of music > never let me down yet!!!!! :newangel:

Wecome to the forum both of you...
You only need a Trem-spaced model if you have a Floyd Rose Tremolo in your Strat... and you've got a Hardtail so you need the normal one... but it wouldn't make that difference even if you used a normal spaced one in a Floyd equipped guitar... mostly cosmetics...

I have had trembucker and now a regular Jb in my USA strat and ill tell you that the trembucker will line up better, but it really don't matter.

I`ve got the trem-spaced JB in my hardtail Strat and it fits perfect!
