JB sounds really bright, anyway to adjust this?

Pretty much what the topic says, the bright sound is not bad at all except when you are doing rhythm parts, and its way too bright and needs to be a little bassier...i can turn the bass on my amp up all the way and it's still bright..

What size pot's are you using? Do you have a tone pot connected?

Turn down your tone pot.

I sometimes turn my volume down to 8-9 just to bleed a bit of edge off the pickups.

Re: JB sounds really bright, anyway to adjust this?

I have found that a good compromise is the use of 250k volume pots with a disconnected tone control to prevent what some call a "choking" of the humbuckers when combined with the lower volume pot values.

This works well for me with the Jazz, Custom, and Hot Rails.

By lowing down the tone knob a little bit you can cut the treble frequency...

Re: JB sounds really bright, anyway to adjust this?

try giving less mids on your amp.. tone knob and volume knob are also helpful
