JB (TB-4) and Vintage 54 (stl-1)

The vintage 54 has lower output than the jb. Would this be a good combination? Loved the sound of both, but don~t know how would the sound together. The volume can match ?

I ran a JB with 2 Duncan SSL-1 single coils for several years, and it did not overpower them. Ran the JB on 250K pots as well. I have found several Duncan bridge pickups I like more than the JB after finding this forum, so its now retired in a box. Still love the SSL-1's.
